Wishing the readers a Merry Christmas. Once Jesus was asked, when the kingdom of God would come? Jesus strikingly said," Neighter here nor there, behold the kingdom within you." Luke 17-21. Shirdi Saibaba used to say that He lives in the hearts of one and all. Innumerable experiences of devotees bear testimony to this fact. Saibaba is the Universal Conciousness. Saibaba said," You need not go in search of Me. Barring your name and form, there exists in you as well as in all beings, a sense of being or Conciouness of Existence. That is Myself. Knowing this, you see Me inside your self, as well as in all beings. If you practise this , you will realize all-pervasiveness, and thus attain oneness with Me." ( Sri Saisatcharita:43-44). Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi reiterated,preached the above truth.His method is about the enquiry of the Self or the underlying Reality of everyone. He used to preach that the Self is beyond body,mind and intellect. The Self illuminates the above three. Self or Conciousness or Atma is an all prevailing awareness beyond wakeful, dream and dreamless states. Self is a total Blissful or Happy state. For a person who lives in this state the other states appear as unreal. This can be compared to a motion picture where innumerable pictures appear and disappear on the screen, but the screen ever remains unaffected, untouched by the fire, water or emotions of the pictures. The screen remains and continues further even after the movie is over. That unaffected screen like reality or Self is " The kingdom of God within you.", preached by Jesus. May Jesus Christ and all the holy Masters shower their blessings on all of us! !
