శ్రీసాయినాథాయనమః! శ్రీరామకృష్ణాయనమః!

రామకృష్ణ పరమహంస లీలాక్రమము సాయిబాబమహిమల సమాంతరము. పరమహంస అసంపూర్ణ అవతార కార్యాన్ని సాయిబాబా కొనసాగించారని చెప్పబడినది. రామకృష్ణులు మహాసమాధిచెందిన క్షణంలోనె, సాయిబాబా తమ మూడుదినముల ప్రాణరహిత స్థితినుండి స్పృహలోకి వచ్చారు. పరమహంస భూమిపై కేవలం ఐదుపదుల కాలం జీవించినా, ముప్పది వత్సరముల వయసుకే తమ దైవత్వాన్ని లోకానికి చాటారు. అన్నిమతముల దైవం ఒక్కడనే సత్యాన్ని అనుభవపూర్వకంగా గ్రహించి లోకానికి తెలియపరిచారు. అటుపిమ్మట లోక కళ్యాణార్ధమై తమలీలా స్రవంతి కొనసాగించారు. వారి జీవిత పఠనం, శ్రవణం భక్తకోటికి అమృతప్రాయం. భక్తుల మానసిక చీకటులకు వెలుగుదీపమై ప్రకాశించారు. ప్రస్తుత కాలంలోని సమాజ రుగ్మతలకు లోనుకాని జీవనవిధానాన్ని బోధించారు. ప్రశాంతజీవితానికుపరరించే పెక్కు సూత్రాల ప్రజలకందించారు. కాంతాకనకాల వలయంలో చిక్కవలదని హెచ్చరించారు. రోగాల నుండి పాపాలనుండి పెక్కురీతుల భక్తుల రక్షించారు.శ్రీ రామకృష్ణుల అహేతు కరుణకు నిదర్శనంగా ఓ భక్తురాలిని పునీతను జేసిన సంఘటను తెలిసికొనిదెము. ఈ ఘటన సోమవారం, జూన్ 4,1883 న దక్షిణేశ్వర్, కాళీ దేవాలయం, పరమహంస నివసించే గదిలో జరిగినది. శ్రీరామకృష్ణులు చిన్నమంచం మీద కూర్చుని జగజ్జననిని ధ్యానిస్తున్నారు. నిశ్శబ్దం రాజ్యం జేస్తుంది. సాంబ్రాణి ధూపం గదంతా వ్యాపించి ఉంది. శ్రీరామకృష్ణ కథామృత రచయిత ( 'మ ' గ పిలువబడే మహేంద్రనాథ్ గుప్త.) నేలమీద కూర్చుని ఉన్నాడు. వేరే భక్తుడు రాఖాల్ కూడా ఉన్నాడు. కాసేపయ్యాక ఆలయ యజమాని మధుర్ బాబు ఇంటి పనిమనిషి భగవతీదాసి వచ్చి దూరంనించే శ్రీరామకృష్ణులకు ప్రణామం చేసింది. శ్రీరామకృష్ణులు ఆమెను కూర్చోమన్నారు. శ్రీరామకృష్ణులు ఆమెను చాలాకాలం నుంచి ఎరుగుదురు. చిన్నవయసులో ఆమె ఇంచుమించు నీతిబాహ్య జీవితాన్ని గడిపింది. కాని కరుణాసింధువు అయిన శ్రీరామకృష్ణులు పాపులను పావనుల చేయగలరు. ఆమెతో పాతరోజులగూర్చి మాట్లాడసాగారు. శ్రీరామకృష్ణులు : ఇప్పుడు వయస్సు బాగా పైబడింది. సంపాదించిన ధనాన్ని వైష్ణవులకు,సాధువులకు అన్నదానం చేస్తూ ఉదాత్తమార్గంలో ఖర్చు చేస్తున్నావు కదా? భగవతీ (కించిత్తు నవ్వుతూ): దాన్ని గురించి నేనే ఎలా చెప్పగలను? శ్రీరామకృష్ణులు : బృందావనం, కాశీ మొదలైన పుణ్యతీర్థాలను సందర్శించావా? భగవతీ(సంకోచిస్తూ): దాన్ని గురించి నేనే ఎలా చెప్పగలను? ఒక స్నానఘట్టాన్ని కట్టించాను. అక్కడ ఒక ఫలకంపై నాపేరుకూడా చెక్కబడింది. శ్రీరామకృష్ణులు : ఓ అట్లాగా? భగవతీ: అవునండీ. నాపేరు "శ్రీమతి భగవతీ దాసి " అని అక్కడ వ్రాయబడి ఉంది. శ్రీరామకృష్ణులు(నవ్వుతూ ) బాగుంది,చాలా బాగుంది. శ్రీరామకృష్ణుల పలుకులతో కాస్త ధైర్యం పుంజుకొని ఆమె ఆయనను సమీపించి , అయన పాదాలను స్పృశించి ప్రణామం చేసింది. అస్పర్శతో శ్రీరామకృషులకు తేలు కుట్టినట్లయింది. తక్షణమే ఆయన లేచి నిలబడి బిగ్గరగా " గోవిందా! గోవిందా! " అంటూ కేక పెట్టారు. గదిలో ఓ మూల ఒక బిందెలో గంగాజలం ఉంది. గబగబా ఆబిందెవద్దకు వెళ్లి భగవతీ దాసి తాకిన చోటును గంగాజలంతో ప్రక్షాళన చేసుకున్నారు. గదిలో ఉన్న ఇద్దరు ముగ్గురు భక్తులు ఈ సంఘటనను దిగ్భ్రాంతితో చూస్తూవున్నారు. భగవతీ దాసి కుప్పకూలిపోయింది. కరుణా సింధువు, పాపులను పావనుల గావించే అవ్యాజ ప్రేమమూర్తి అయిన శ్రీరామకృష్ణులు ఆమెను అనునయించి కారుణ్యం ఉట్టిపడే స్వరంతో " కాస్త దూరం నుంచే నాకు ప్రణామం చేస్తే చాలు" అన్నారు. ఇలా చెప్పి మళ్ళీ చిన్నమంచం మీద కూర్చున్నారు. జరిగిన సంఘటనను మరచిపోయి ఆమె అనునయం చెందాలని మధురంగా కొన్నిపాటలు పాడారు. శ్రీసద్గురువుల కరుణాకిరణాలు అందరిపై ప్రసరించునుగాక! అందరికీ శుభమగుగాక! ఓంసాయి శ్రీసాయి జైజైసాయి! ప్రస్తుత విషయము శ్రీరామకృష్ణ కథామృతం నుండి గ్రహింపబడినది. రచయిత పూజ్యశ్రీ మహేంద్రనాథ గుప్త.

⸻ Ahētu Karuṇā Sindhu – Sadguru (Part 2) June 27, 2024 Śrī Sāyināthāyanamaha! Śrī Rāmakṛṣṇāyanamaha! The divine play of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa runs parallel to the sacred mahima of Sai Baba of Shirdi. It is often said that Sai Baba continued the unfinished avataric mission of Sri Ramakrishna. The very moment Ramakrishna entered into Mahāsamādhi, Baba awakened from His three-day trance-like, lifeless state—an extraordinary spiritual synchrony. Though Sri Ramakrishna lived on Earth barely fifty years, He revealed His divinity to the world by the time He touched thirty. He directly experienced, and then taught, the great truth that all religions lead to the same One Divine. After this realization, His life became a continuous stream of grace for the welfare of humanity. Reading His life, listening to His words—these are pure nectar for millions of devotees. He shone as a lamp in the inner darkness of countless hearts. He taught a way of life that does not fall prey to the diseases of modern society. To those who yearn for peace, He showed simple, clear spiritual principles. He warned humanity not to be trapped in the glitter of worldly gold. He protected devotees from illness, from sin, from the many pitfalls of earthly living. Let us now learn of an incident that beautifully reveals the causeless compassion (ahētu karuṇā) of Sri Ramakrishna—a moment when He uplifted, purified, and sanctified a woman who had lived a troubled past. ⸻ **The Incident — June 4, 1883, Monday Dakshineswar Kali Temple** The scene unfolds in the small room where Sri Ramakrishna stayed. He sat on a low wooden cot, immersed in meditation on the Mother of the Universe. Silence filled the entire space. The gentle fragrance of burning incense drifted through the room. Mahendranath Gupta—lovingly remembered as “M”, the author of Sri Ramakrishna Kathāmṛta—sat quietly on the floor nearby. Rakhal, another dear disciple, was also present. After some time, Bhagavatī Dāsī, a maidservant from the household of Mathur Babu, entered the room. She bowed to Sri Ramakrishna from a distance. The Master gently asked her to sit. He had known her for many years; as a young woman she had lived a morally fallen life. Yet Sri Ramakrishna, the ocean of compassion, had the power to sanctify even the sinner and make them pure. The Master lovingly began speaking to her about her earlier days. Sri Ramakrishna: “You have grown older now. You spend your earnings in charity, feeding Vaiṣṇavas and sādhus, walking on the noble path—don’t you?” Bhagavatī (with a shy smile): “How can I speak of such things myself?” Sri Ramakrishna: “And you visited the holy places—Vrindavan, Kashi, and others?” Bhagavatī (hesitating): “How can I speak of these things? I even built a bathing ghat… they carved my name on a plaque there.” Sri Ramakrishna: “Oh, is that so?” Bhagavatī: “Yes, it is written ‘Śrīmatī Bhagavatī Dāsī’.” Sri Ramakrishna (smiling warmly): “Very good… very good.” Encouraged, she drew nearer and touched His feet in reverence. The moment her hand touched Him, Sri Ramakrishna reacted as if stung by a scorpion. He leapt up suddenly, crying aloud: “Govindā! Govindā!” In the corner of the room stood a pot filled with Ganga water. He rushed to it and washed the spot she had touched. The devotees present were stunned. Bhagavatī collapsed to the ground in shock and sorrow. But Sri Ramakrishna—the boundless ocean of grace, the purifier of the fallen—immediately went to her with great tenderness. His voice overflowed with compassion: “My child, from a little distance is enough. You may bow to me from there.” Saying this, He sat again on the small cot. As though the incident had already been washed away from His heart, He began singing sweet, comforting songs—songs that would soothe and heal her. ⸻ **May the rays of compassion of the Sadguru shine upon all!
