శ్రీసాయినాథాయనమః !

సద్గురునిపైగాని భగవంతునిపైగాని విశ్వాసం కుదరడం అంతసామాన్యవిషయంకాదు . సాధారణమానవుడు వారికి నేలనమస్కరింపవలెనని తలచిన ఇరువురు కాకామహాజని మిత్రులలో బాబా విశ్వాసమెలానింపారనేది ప్రస్తుత అధ్యాయ విషయము . దైవం నిరాకారునిగా దలచు కాకాజీ మహాజని స్నేహితుడు కేవలం వింతలేమైనా జరిగితే చూచుటకు బాబాను దర్శించాడు . దూరంనుండే తన తండ్రి కంఠస్వరంతో ఆహ్వానం పలికేసరికి మిగుల విస్మయమొందినయాతడు వెనువెంటనేలోపలికివెళ్ళి బాబా పాదాలకు నమస్కరించాడు . దక్షిణ నివ్వతలువని వానిమనసెరిగిన బాబా వానినుండి దక్షిణ కోరలేదు . పిదప మనసుమార్చుకొని దక్షిణనివ్వదలచిన యాతని ఆలోచనకనుగుణంగా వానినుండి దక్షిణపొందారు బాబా . ఇరువురిమధ్య అడ్డుగోడ తొలగించామన్నారు బాబా . సంశయ చిత్తులెల్లరకు సాయిసందేశమిది . రెండవ్యక్తి కాకాజీ మహాజని యజమాని . కేవలం కుతూహలంతో బాబాను పరీక్షింపదలచి శిరిడీకి వచ్చాడు . తనకనులముందే గింజలున్నదాక్షలను గింజలులేనివానిగా మార్చిన బాబామహిమకు మిగుల యబ్బుర పడ్డాడు యజమాని . వాని చంచలచిత్తము గ్రహించిన బాబా, ఒకేచోట విశ్వాసముంచమని బోధించారు . చపలమనసులకిది బాబా అందించిన మాత్ర! ఈసందర్భంలో బాబాచెప్పిన మరొక అమృతవాక్యం , ధనం పొందాలంటే దానిని ఇతరులకిచ్చుటయే సరైనమార్గం . ఈమాటలువిన్న కాకాజీ యజమాని తననిశ్చయం మార్చుకొని బాబాకు పదునైదు రూపాయల దక్షిణ సమర్పించుకున్నాడు . గతించిన తండ్రి స్వప్మంలో కన్పించి తీవ్రంగా తిట్టుటచే మిగులవ్యాకులపడ్డ బాంద్రానివాసి యూది ధారణచే, ముక్తుడై బాబాభక్తుడయ్యాడు.బాబాను ప్రేమతో సేవించిన బాలాజీ పాటిలు నెవాస్కర్ సాంవత్సరికమునాటిభోజనానికి పిలిచినవానికంటే మూడురెట్లువచ్చారు అతిధులు . సాయినిస్మరించి వంటపాత్రలలో యూది వేసి గుడ్డకప్పి వడ్డించగా భోజనాలు పూర్తయినపిమ్మటకూడా ఇంకను మిగిలాయి . అంతాసాయి లీల ! మరొకపర్యాయం వారింట పామురూపంతో దర్శనమిచ్చి అదృశ్యమయ్యారుబాబా . సర్వజీవరూపుడే సాయినాథుడు ! శ్రీసాయికరుణాకిరణాలు అందరిపై ప్రసరించుగాక ! అందరికి శుభమగుగాక ! ఓంసాయి శ్రీసాయి జైజైసాయి !

Faith in the Sadguru or in God Is never an ordinary thing. How Baba kindled such faith In the hearts of two friends of Kakasaheb Mahajani— This is the tale before us. One friend believed God to be formless; He came to Baba only out of curiosity, To witness if any wonder would occur. But when, from afar, He heard his own father’s voice Calling him with love, He stood stunned in amazement— And hurried inside to bow at Baba’s feet. Knowing he had no wish to offer Dakshina, Baba asked nothing from him. Yet when his heart later softened And he wished to give, Baba accepted the offering in harmony with his thought. “ Remove the wall between us,” Baba said gently. This is Sai’s message To every doubting mind. The second man—Kaka Mahajani’s employer— Came to Shirdi merely to test Baba. Before his very eyes, Baba transformed seeded grapes Into seedless fruit. Astonishment filled his heart. Perceiving his restless mind, Baba taught him: “Place your faith in one place alone.” A sacred medicine For wavering hearts. Then came another nectar-like teaching: “If you wish to gain wealth, The right path is to give it to others.” Hearing these words, Kaka’s employer changed his resolve And offered Baba fifteen rupees as Dakshina. A resident of Bandra, Disturbed by dreams of his departed father Who scolded him sternly, Found peace by wearing Udi— And became a devoted follower of Baba. Balaji Patil Nevaskar, Who served Baba with deep love, Once invited guests for an annual feast. Three times more people arrived than expected. Remembering Sai, He placed Udi in the cooking vessels, Covered them with cloth, and served the meal. Even after all had eaten, Food still remained in abundance— Such are Sai’s divine plays! On another occasion, Baba appeared at his home In the form of a serpent And vanished again. Sai Nath— The One who lives in every being. May Sri Sai’s rays of compassion Shine upon all.
