శ్రీసాయినాథాయనమః !

గత అధ్యాయంలో చిత్రపట రూపంలో హేమాడ్ పంత్ ఇంట బాబా విందారగించిన లీల చెప్పబడినది . ఆ చిత్రపటం పూర్వచరిత్ర నిట తెలిసికొనెదము . ఆలిమొహమ్మద్ తన ఆరోగ్యం కుదుటబడుటకై బావమరది నూర్ మొహమ్మద్ సలహాపై తనయింటనున్న యోగులపటాలను మేనేజర్ ద్వారా బాంద్రాసముద్రంలో ముంచివేయించాడు . రెండునెలలపిమ్మట తనింటికి తిరిగొచ్చిన అలీ అహమ్మద్ పూర్వమువలె తనింట గోడపై కేవలం బాబాఫోటోను గమనించి మిగుల ఆశ్చర్యపడ్డాడు . మేనేజర్ ఇతరపటాలను మాత్రమే ముంచి బాబా పటాన్నెందుకు విడిచాడో ఎవరికీ తెలియని విషయం . వానికి పటంలో బాబాదర్శనమైనదేమో ఎవరికెరుక ? మరొక్క గమనింపదగిన విషయమేమన హేమాద్రిపంతు చిత్రపటం పొందినరోజు ఉదయమే బాబా వానింటికి భోజనానికి వస్తామని స్వప్నంలో చెప్పారు . చెప్పినటుల భోజనసమయానికి పటం రూపంలో వచ్చి విందారగించి తమకు తమ చిత్రానికి తేడాలేదనే విషయాన్ని మరొక్కసారి భక్తులకు అనుభవాన్ని కలిగించారు . కావున భక్తులెల్లరు తమఇంట ఫొటోలో బాబాయున్నారనే ఎరుక మరువరాదు . ఈ అధ్యాయంలోని మరొక్క విషయమేమన బీవీ దేవు గారు బాబా ఆశీసులతో జ్ఞానేశ్వరిని చదువ మనసులో దలచాడేగాని, స్వయంగా బాబా సాయం అడుగలేదు . ఈవిషయమై వేరొక భక్తుడు బాలకరాముని సాయం కోరాడు . సర్వాంతర్యామి సాయి వానిమనసెరిగి మిగుల క్రోధులయ్యారు . పిదప శాంతించి పెక్కుసార్లు వానినుండి దక్షిణస్వీకరించి తుదకు ఆశీర్వదించారు . గురువు అనుగ్రహం శాలువాలాంటిది, ఇతరులసాయం గుడ్డపీలికల సమం . తన తప్పిదం గ్రహించిన దేవ్, బాబా ఆశీసులతో జ్ఞానేశ్వరి పఠనం చేయగలిగాడు . శ్రీసాయికరుణాకిరణాలు అందరిపై ప్రసరించుగాక ! అందరికి శుభమగుగాక ! ఓంసాయి శ్రీసాయి జైజైసాయి !

In the previous chapter, the divine play of how Baba partook of a meal at the house of Hemadpant in the form of a portrait was described. Now, let us learn the earlier history of that sacred picture. Ali Mohammed, seeking recovery from ill health, followed the advice of his brother-in-law Noor Mohammed. On that counsel, he instructed his manager to immerse in the sea at Bandra all the pictures of saints and yogis that adorned his home. Obediently, the manager carried out the task. Two months later, when Ali Mohammed returned home, he was astonished. Upon the wall, as before, there remained only one picture — Baba’s photograph. All other portraits had been immersed in the sea, but Baba’s image alone was left untouched. Why did the manager spare that single picture? No one knows. Perhaps he beheld something in Baba’s eyes — a living presence, a silent command. Who can fathom what vision dawned upon him? Another remarkable detail: on the very morning Hemadpant received that portrait, Baba appeared in his dream and said, “I shall come to your house for meals today.” True to His word, at mealtime, He arrived — not in physical form, but as the portrait itself — and partook of the offering. Thus He granted devotees the living experience that there is no difference between Himself and His image. Therefore, devotees should never forget: when Baba’s photograph is present in their home, Baba Himself is present. In this chapter, another teaching unfolds. B.V. Dev desired to study the Jnaneshwari with Baba’s blessings, yet he did not directly seek Baba’s help. Instead, he approached another devotee, Balakram, for assistance. Sai, the indwelling knower of all hearts, perceived his thought and became greatly displeased. Later, calming Himself, Baba accepted dakshina from him several times and finally bestowed His grace. The Guru’s blessing is like a warm, protective shawl. The help of others is but a torn rag in comparison. Realizing his mistake, Dev surrendered, and with Baba’s grace, he was able to study the Jnaneshwari. May the rays of Sri Sai’s compassion shine upon all. May auspiciousness prevail for everyone. Om Sai, Sri Sai, Jai Jai Sai. 🙏
