శ్రీసాయిసందేశామృతము 42 (Nectar of Sri Sai's message 42)

శ్రీసాయినాథాయనమః !

ఈ అధ్యాయారంభములో ఓ ముఖ్యవిషయం చెప్పబడినది , "సద్గురుని పాదములను జ్ఞప్తియుంచుకొనినచో మరణము తన నైజమును కోల్పోవును . " ఇచట మరణమనగా మరల మరల దేహమునుధరించి జన్మలెత్తక ఆత్మగా వెలిగి దైవంలో విలీనమవడం గా తలంపవచ్చును . బాబా తమసమాధి విషయం రెండు సంవత్సరాలకు ముందే సీమోల్లంఘన సమయాన సూచించినప్పటికీ భక్తులెవరూ గ్రహింపలేకపోయారు . దేహసీమను దాటి దేహాతీత ఆత్మస్థితిలో చైతన్యం ప్రకాశించడం సీమోల్లంఘనగా గ్రహింపగలము . ప్రస్తుతం బాబా అలానే తమ అవతార కార్యాన్ని కొనసాగిస్తున్నారు . పిమ్మట ఓరోజు మరణాపాయంలోనున్న రామచంద్రపాటిలుకు భౌతిక దర్శనమిచ్చి ,ఓదార్చి వాని చావు చీటీని రద్దుజేశారు కరుణామయుడు సాయి . అదేరాత్రి వానికి తాత్యాకు రాబోయే మరణవార్తజెప్పి , ఆవిషయం గోప్యంగా యుంచమన్నారు . బాబాచెప్పినటుల తాత్యా 1918 విజయదశమిరోజున జబ్బుపడి మరణాపాయంలో నున్నాడు . కాని ఇంతలో ఓవింత జరిగింది, తాత్యాప్రాణం నిలబడి బాబా దేహం చాలించారు . తాత్యా తల్లి బాయిజాబాయి సేవకు ప్రతిఫలంగా బాబా ఇలా రుణందీర్చుకొన్నారు . కృతజ్ఞతకు మారుపేరు సాయిబాబ. బాబాను సేవించిన మరొక్క పుణ్యశీలి లక్ష్మీబాయి షిండే . నిత్యం బాబాకొరకు రొట్టె కూర సమర్పించేది . ఆమె రుణం తీర్చుకొన్నందులకా యన్నటుల సమాధిరోజున బాబా ఆమెకు తొమ్మిది వెండి నాణాల దానంజేశారు . చివరి క్షణాల్లో తమ అంకిత భక్తులను భోజనానికి పంపి మజీదున బయాజీ అప్పాకోతే పాటీలు ఒడిలో తుదిశ్వాస విడిచారు . సీమోల్లంఘనం జేసిన వారి చైతన్యం సమాధినుండే నిత్యం భక్తులను పాలిస్తుంది , కాపాడుతుంది . ఆ దినాలలో శిరిడికే వారిదేహం పరిమితమైతే, ప్రస్తుతం వారియాత్మ విశ్వాత్మగా జగమంతా ప్రకాశిస్తుంది . శ్రీసాయికరుణాకిరణాలు అందరిపై ప్రసరించుగాక ! అందరికి శుభమగుగాక ! ఓంసాయి శ్రీసాయి జైజైసాయి !

If one holds fast in remembrance to the sacred feet of the Sadguru, death itself loses its very nature. Here, “death” may be understood not as an end, but as freedom from repeated births — no more donning body after body, but shining as the eternal Self, merging at last into the Divine Light. Though Baba had hinted at His Mahāsamādhi two years earlier, at the time of Seemollanghan, none among the devotees grasped its meaning. To cross the boundary of the body and abide in the bodiless radiance of pure Consciousness — that indeed is the true Seemollanghan. Even now, in that transcendent state, Baba continues His divine mission. Once, to Ramachandra Patil, who lay trembling at death’s door, Sai appeared in physical form — comforted him, and with boundless compassion tore up the warrant of his death. Yet that very night, He revealed in secret that Tatya’s end was drawing near, and bade him keep the matter concealed. As foretold, Tatya fell grievously ill on Vijayadashami of 1918, hovering at the brink of death. But then — a wonder! Tatya’s life was spared, while Baba cast off His mortal frame. Thus did He repay the loving service of Bayajabai, Tatya’s mother. Gratitude itself bears the name of Sai Baba. Another blessed soul, Lakshmibai Shinde, who daily offered Him bread and curry with devotion — to repay her love, on the day of His Mahāsamādhi, Baba gifted her nine silver coins, a treasure of sacred significance. In His final moments, He sent His intimate devotees to partake of food, and in the Masjid, resting upon the lap of Bayaji Appa Kote Patil, He breathed His last. Yet the One who crossed all boundaries rules and protects His devotees still from the very Samādhi. In those days, His body seemed confined to Shirdi; now His Spirit, the Universal Self, illumines the entire cosmos. May the compassionate rays of Sri Sai shine upon all beings. May auspiciousness prevail everywhere. Om Sai… Sri Sai… Jai Jai Sai.
